Andrea is Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at the College of the Holy Cross, where he enjoys teaching courses in Metaphysics, Philosophy of Biology, Philosophy of Food, and cognate fields. He held visiting appointments at the University of Turin and at the Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa, Italy), and is a co-founder and was an Associate Member of the University Seminar in Comparative Philosophy at Columbia University.
Andrea holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Columbia University and a B.A. from the University of Florence (Italy). His main areas of research are Metaphysics, Philosophy of Biology, and Philosophy of Food.
