Emrys Westacott is a former writer for ThoughtCo who contributed articles about philosophy and ethics. Westacott is a professor of Philosophy at Alfred University in New York, where he has taught since 1996. He wrote two books about philosophy and co-wrote another with Chris Horner.

Education

Emrys Westacott received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy from the University of Texas–Austin. He holds a Master Arts (M.A.) in Philosophy from McGill University and a Bachelor Arts (B.A.), also in Philosophy, from the University of Sheffield.
